Our digital KnowHow-Maps are tools for enabling your employees to deal with challenging and comprehensive topics. They provide quick, easy and motivating access to the information and tools needed to complete the respective tasks effectively and efficiently. They are therefore not just “knowledge maps” that reproduce theoretical knowledge and abstract rules, but are designed in a way that makes valuable knowledge usable.
Our KnowHow-Maps are therefore simultaneously onboarding tool, reference works, consulting tools, training bases, communication tools and central "collection points" for all verified information and resources on a specific topic. On - perceived - one page.
Know-how maps are interactive one-pagers specifically designed for information processing by busy people. They combine relevant and understandable content with a spatial-visual, context-related, and interactive presentation.
Our KnowHow Maps are characterized by clear structures, overview, and a modular design in terms of both the breadth and depth of the respective content. This makes them perfect for autonomous and user-friendly information search and processing for the individual needs of your employees. Even with a lot of content.

In our KnowHow-Maps, we implement the findings from our numerous projects as well as interdisciplinary approaches and methods from the fields of applied cognitive science, linguistics, usability and human-centered design. Furthermore we follow the 4 governing principles of international Standards applicable to information design: relevant, findable, understandable, usable (ISO 24495-1: 2023 (E) Plain language/ umgesetzt in DIN 8581-1 einfache Sprache).

Actually, we don't really know why.
But our customers and their users love KnowHow-Maps.
And we love mapping!
In 2020, we began developing “LegalMaps” for legal and compliance departments to empower employees in legal and compliance topics.
In the meantime, however, the other company divisions have also discovered the potential and benefits of our maps, which is why we do not limit our services to legal topics. To keep it simple, our former "LegalMaps" are now also called "KnowHow-Maps"...
