That’s why the KnowHow Map features an (optional) connector (MCP Server) that allows your company’s internal chatbot/AI assistant to read and process the cleanly structured, human- and machine-readable, verified, and always up-to-date content of the maps — without having to upload the content each time or update it when changes are made.
Employees are shown the relevant map, including links to the relevant bubbles. And ideally, they’re already given an initial indication of the direction the answer they’re looking for might take. They can then find connections, examples, in-depth information, and the available resources — such as fact sheets and tools — within the map.
Careful finetuning of your chatbot/AI assistant specifically for the relevant topics or know-how maps can already create added value for employees in the bot/assistant, while avoiding unnecessary risks, misinterpretations, and confusion. To do this, you need to understand the content, goals, and risks in order to find the right balance. Which is what we do thanks to the development of the maps.
